The London-based folk group 'Saduto' is an outstanding example of Lithuania’s intangible cultural heritage. It performs and keeps alive traditional authentic songs and dances from different regions of Lithuania. It also promotes and fosters Lithuanian culture and traditions, introducing them to wider audiences in the United Kingdom.
The group's repertoire includes many songs, assorted dances and games, and we love to see audience participation. We regularly organise various cultural events and get-togethers open to the public.
The group is well-known and willingly invited to various festivals organised by other organisations and municipalities. Such events provide an excellent opportunity to showcase our culture, and we take pride in being recognised as ‘little Lithuanian ambassadors’.
Rehearsals take place every Friday from 20.00 to 22.00.
